We provide a wide spectrum of domiciliary care services for Adults in the age range of 18 and above. In order to support your interests, objectives, and preferences, we conduct a detailed assessment to gain an understanding of your needs and these are then put in a bespoke care plan.
Live-in care is becoming more popular for families as it means Adults can remain in their homes and don’t have to go into a care home which can be distressing for some. Remaining in a familiar environment cannot be overstated.
Live-in care provides constant, round-the-clock care from a dedicated carer who lives with the Adult in their home, offering a helping hand at a moment’s notice.
When you choose live-in care services from Passion Tree Care Services you receive many great benefits.
The following services are typically included in Live-In Care:
We provide Personal care for all service users that require such. Our service is bespoke and tailored to meet the individual needs of the adult using the service. These needs are captured during our initial assessment and included in the adults’ care plan.
Services provided as part of personal care include the following:
Inspo has been providing reablement services across East Midlands. Reablement care is a short-term service designed to assist our service users to develop the confidence to carry out personal and daily activities yourself so that you can continue to live at home independently after a hospital stay / surgery. It typically lasts for six weeks and focuses on the adult as an individual with specific outcomes to achieve.
We work with various stakeholders in the delivery of this service, and these include:
This service gives the adult time to source ongoing care should this be required. There are adults who regain their independence and then exit the service.
Supporting Adults using our service with their medication management includes such things as:
We can provide as little or as much support with medication as needed. All our staff are trained to administer prescribed and GP-authorised medication. We can simply prompt clients to take their medication or we can offer more involved management.
Our care staff are not allowed to work with sharps (e.g. injections) or administer pessaries, or suppositories. These duties are typically undertaken by the local District Nursing team who we regularly work in partnership with.
Waking night is a service we provide for Adults who don’t want carers living in their home or don’t have the space to accommodate them. The carer stays with the Adult over nights and this provides a calming presence and the staff attends to the Adults needs and prepares them in the morning thus ensuing day time care duration is reduced.
Respite care means taking a break from caring, while the person you care for is looked after by someone else. It lets you take time out to look after yourself and helps stop you becoming exhausted and run down.
Passion Tree Care Services can provide a care staff to sit with the person you look after for a few hours or days so you can go on holiday or take a much needed break.
For some people in society, leading a healthy and comfortable life may not be possible without outside support. That’s where social care professionals come in, helping others to thrive despite the challenges they may be facing. As such, social care jobs are highly rewarding and every day is different!
Social care workers can become highly specialised over time, whether in a particular subdivision of the sector, such as working with people on probation, or with an age group or disability. And because social work with a given family or individual usually extends over a period of months if not years, the bonds you form with the people you help will be long-lasting and fulfilling.
Besides a strong technical and skills-based background in their field of specialisation, social care workers must be patient, empathetic, and dedicated individuals, whose drive comes from a motivation to help those who need it most.
Social workers are problem solvers. Whether the client is elderly, disabled, in crisis, or otherwise socially vulnerable, a social worker can help them overcome obstacles and progress in life. Social workers are usually expected to conduct in-person visits to clients’ homes, meet up with clients’ relatives and colleagues, and on with local authorities to intercede own their clients’ behalf. A good social worker is an excellent problem solver, flexible and analytical, with the ability to manage diverse cases and a willingness to work with people from all backgrounds.
Social Housing jobs cover a wide range of areas, from Housing Officers through to Anti-Social Behavior Officers. Whatever area you work in, you can expect to be hands on with clients as you help them resolve issues regarding their living situation. Professionals working in social housing, as with many social care roles, come across people living in crisis, and need to be good at handling stress and upsetting situations. On a more positive note, successfully resolving a social housing case is certainly one of the most fulfilling experiences you can ask for, and close contact with clients over extended periods can lead to strong, long-lasting relationships.
A locum, or locum tenens, is a person who temporarily fulfils the duties of another; the term is especially used for physicians or clergy. For example, a locum tenens physician is a physician who works in the place of a regular physician.
